Tybalt was looking for Romeo because he was mad at him because of his marriage to Juliet. He wanted to challenge Romeo to a duel. Tybalt challenges Romeo to a duel after Romeo gatecrashed the Capulets' party with his friends Benvolio and Mercutio.
It's a challenge. Romeo turns down his challenge but then Mercutio issues a challenge of his own, ostensibly because he is ashamed at Romeo's cowardice, but really because he has been dying to fight Tybalt from the get-go.
Tybalt wants to challenge Romeo to a duel. Tybalt is a hot-headed mean guy and is still angry at Romeo for crashing their party last night. Hes mad at Romeo because he crashed his party then he goes to Romeo to challenge him to a duel but romeo declines and then Mercutio wants to fight him for "insulting" Romeo but then gets killed by Tybalt. I think it is because Romeo and friends crashed the Capulets party. Romeo does not want to fight as he is crawling with happiness from his wedding.

The first time he hears that Tybalt wants to fight him in a duel, Tybalt is his cousin by marriage, although only Romeo knows this. No, Tybalt tried to pick a fight with Romeo. Romeo didn't want to fight because he was married to his cousin, Juliet.
But when Mercutio saw that Romeo was acting cowardly by not fighting he attempted to stand up for Romeos pride and Challenge Tybalt to a duel. Tybalt does, because Romeo crashed the Capulets' party. But this is basically an excuse--Tybalt is always looking for an excuse to fight with someone, preferably a Montague. Romeo will answer it. What does juliet seem most concerned about in the balcony scene? He secretely listened to her when he was hiding in her orchard. What warning does the nurse give Romeo? She warns him that he better be serious about what he said about marrying Juliet, or else she will do something bad to him. Romeo and Mercutio are interrupted by the arrival of Peter and the Nurse. Juliet needs an excuse to visit the abbey because that is where Friar Laurence will perform the secret wedding.
Romeo and Juliet continue their exchanges and they kiss, but are interrupted by The Nurse, who sends Juliet to find her mother.
